Peter Poletti was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela and migrated to the United States more than 30 years ago. Peter also became an American citizen back in 2000. He moved from Tampa, Florida to Lawrence, Massachusetts in June 2021 to live closer to his grandchildren. Now, he is a part of the Abbott Lawrence Academy family as a teacher of Advanced Honors Spanish 3 and 4, and Basics of Photography. Peter graduated from Florida Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree with Majors in Aquaculture and Environmental Technology.
On his time off work, Peter enjoys many outdoors activities like hiking, biking, and kayaking; however, his main interest and passion is in landscape and nature photography, an activity where he spends hours connecting with our environment. An avid sports fan, he played and coached baseball for many years. Now, he enjoys cheering for his favorite teams the Rays, Bucs, and Lightning of Tampa
